This version gives you everything from the PS3 version (the PC version is more or less the same as the PS4 version) in addition to giving you the option of the original or remastered soundtracks. When it was first remastered for the PS3 though, you were forced with the new version of the soundtrack and given the option of having the original sphere grid (which was north american version) or the International, and also included FF10-2. Plus, the games general video quality is a lot clearer too, instead of the bit of muddy video quality you'd get from the PS2, but since the PS2 was pretty much from a different time of the industry (before the advent of HD monitors/TV's and HDMI), that's understandable. The few things that they changed weren't really too much in my eyes and I think they did a great job moving it over. The original was amazing, and the remaster definitely keeps what made the original great and added a lot of (optional) things.
I've played just about every release of FF10 and can definitely say go with the current remaster.
